The most intellectual being, Human Being, is nowadays facing problems of tension, depression, fear, disharmony in family, suicidal thoughts, etc. The pace of life has stolen the peace of mind. In such a situation, we rarely find a source of help & solace. Looking at this scenario, the Academy for a Better World, Opp. Central Women’s College, Tikatuli, Dhaka has started a 24-Hr. Peace Helpline for the selfless service to humanity.

On Saturday, July 11, 2009, Advocate Kamrul Islam, Hon’ble State Minister, Law Justice & Parliament Affairs, as a chief guest of the launching ceremony of the Peace Helpline, stated that this is the need of the hour and the academy for a better world has taken a good initiative to impart peace in the society. The keynote speaker of the function, BK Anand Bhai, IVRS Expert & Director, Ultimate Solutions, Ahmedabad, India briefed about the functionality of the Peace Helpline and informed that anyone can dial the helpline number at anytime and from anywhere in the country and can listen to the pre-recorded messages of their choice from the topics of thought for today, divine song of the day, stress-free life, exam fear, harmony in relations, Rajyoga Meditation, guided meditation, spiritual powers, etc. The caller can also select the language of choice from Bangla & English. After listening to the message, the caller can also record their question and can get its answer later.

BK Anima Behn, Centre In-charge, the Academy for a Better World, Dhaka expressed her feelings by saying that this Peace Helpline will become a blessing for all those who are unable to come to the centre, and showed her faith that this Peace Helpline will be helpful to each and every person in Bangladesh to make their life better. She requested the people in the audience to inform their contacts about the helpline so that they can also take its benefit.
